Full Market Value is defined as .8 x ( LMER - flux ). In other words, we pay 80% of (.8 x) the current London Metal Exchange Rate (LMER) less the previous 3-day fluctuation (flux). This pays the Seller up to 80% of LMER.

The 80% calculation is for FOB Manila or FOB Davao, meaning the Seller presents the raw material at one of our labs in either Manila or Davao. A fee of 10% of LMER is incurred for FOB Outside Manila (usually at the Seller's recovery site) for transportation (land, sea, and/or air) and full security services.

By international agreement, one troy ounce is always exactly 31.1034768 grams. So, for an FOB Manila example, a current LMER of $560(US) per troy ounce with a flux of $20(US) would yield a payment of .8 x (560 - 20) equating to $13,889.12(US) per kilogram of pure 24K gold. At 52P per US Dollar, this equates to 722,234 Philippine Pesos per assayed kilogram.

World War II gold is not considered "assayed" in the 21st century. To be marketable today, your WWII gold must be "modernized" to a widely recognized form such as the recently refined bars pictured above. About 15% of LMER goes into refining the old WWII gold to modern purity standards, enabling the new bars to be easily and readily sold on the open market. This leaves only about 5% as actual profit to Figure Eight. As far as we know, this is the best price currently being paid for WWII gold in the Philippines.

In order for Figure Eight to offer you and your group the safest, quickest, most efficient and most profitable way to turn your treasure into cash and for the benefit of all parties involved, a strict protocol must be observed for orderly and legal transactions as outlined in the following terms and conditions.

1. A "test buy" can be arranged of a portion of your items for sale. If successful, arrangements can be made for the full purchase. Simply contact us on the Internet by email. The address is:

2. If you do not have a private email address, you may obtain one free online from Yahoo! You do not need to own a computer. Inquire at any Internet cafe.

3. Please tell us about your bars. We will need the exact size (top length, top width, bottom length, bottom width, vertical/diagonal edge) in mm and the exact weight in kg. We also request a photograph of at least one of your bars next to a ruler. A photo of your entire lot is suggested as well. The measurements and photos will help us to determine if your offer is fake or questionable and will allow us to spend more quality time with honest clients. In the end, these policies lower our costs and gain better prices for genuine sellers.

4. Go back and read #3. Nothing happens until we get those measurements. No phone numbers, no addresses, no email discussions, no meetings, nothing. Please understand that we have no time for endless talk.

5. Figure Eight will not meet with sellers in secluded areas, including hotel rooms. Moreover, sellers should beware of supposed buyers who do not wish to do business inside an established SEC-registered place of business, wherein there is no recourse if the deal turns sour.

6. We must meet the actual owner of the sale items. Others may be present at the owner's option. Figure Eight will not pay your transportation or hotel costs, nor do we entertain sellers before a transaction is completed. If what you have is real gold, simply saw off about one cubic centimeter from one of the bars and sell it locally. This will get you at least 5000 Pesos for expenses. Do not saw or mar artifacts such as buddhas. You might also saw off a piece in order to hire an attorney. With all of the conmen and scammers at large, you cannot afford to be without legal counsel.

7. Initial Meeting. Because of the many fraudulent claims, you may feel you are being ignored at first. However, if you will bring at least one item of genuine value [at least one kilogram] to either assay facility, you will then be given first-class attention. The facilities are in Makati City and Davao City, Philippines. Also, because of the many self-proclaimed "buyers" in the Philippines, you are encouraged to have your attorneys present for immediate counsel during all meetings. Our attorneys will work with your attorneys in order to assure you that no monkeybusiness is possible by either party. There is no need for any 007-style stand-off or "chicken vs. egg" game.

8. A rough estimate of our purchase price will be given as soon as we are presented with an item. The price is defined as .8 x ( LMER - flux ). Of course, the exact weight of pure gold will not be known until after the assay.

9. Our prices are extremely fair, considered the best in the Philippines. Either the Seller accepts or rejects the offer. There will be no negotiating!

10. The Seller will also be paid for any impurities (usually silver and platinum) which are refined during the process.

11. If large amounts of cash are requested, we must know as soon as possible, preferably at the initial meeting, in order to notify the bank.

12. The actual testing, remelting, full assay, weighing, and financial transaction will be done inside one of our facilities.

13. Our bank is very close to the Makati facilty. Since we do not have to fight Manila traffic, full assays and complete transactions can be accomplished by the next banking day. In most cases, assuming you present your items on the morning of a banking day, you will be paid in full the same day. Compare this to the over two weeks you would have to await payment with any other assayer, whether the Central Bank or any foreign assayer.

14. Up to 200 kg can be processed daily. This is the physical limit of our furnaces. There is no limit to the total amount you may wish to sell. The amount of cash available in our bank accounts and credit lines is neither important nor do we reveal such information. Your gold is moved instantly onto the world market where it is instantly converted into cash. Therefore, lots worth billions of dollars are no more difficult to sell than a few grams.

15. Payment can be made in cash, bank deposits, or both. Bank deposits can be made into any number of banks in the world and into any number of accounts. Any number of bank accounts may be opened during the transaction. Full privacy is assured to all transactors.

16. No laws, whether national or international, will be violated by Figure Eight.
